precious in my sight
" Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned .. Since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you .."Isaiah 43:1-5
How do you feel when someone says to you I love you and you are precious in my sight. That is what the Lord says to you today. In these days of tension and pressure, we are not able to take care of ourselves much less the others. You may have often heard the words I love you which was not really meant. The meaningless words only depresses us more.
The changing lifestyle is pushing us to the brinks of depression. We do not know how to recover from it. The doctors try hard and ask us to slow down our pace. Can we afford to do it without being left behind in the fast growth and development and in turn improving our present status. We have no time for any one. Therefore, the elders have none to care for them. The children feel lonely as both parents are busy. We have deadlines to meet and bosses to satisfy who are always expecting more from us. There is also a major cause for our worries that is finance. How are we going to buy the provision for this month? Will I be able buy a new dress for my childs birthday? Will I be able to pay the bills for this month? Can I do my interview well or am I going to be nervous once again and miss the chance?
As you are eagerly to reading this newsletter with so many questions in your life, there is a message for you this week. The Lord says I have called you by name. Are we not privileged that an awesome God should know our name and call by it. Not just that He says He loves you. Although your problems may appear greater than any river or deeper than any ocean, He says they cannot prevail against you. The fiery tests, which you believe is worse than any fire in this world, cannot consume you. Because you are His and you are precious in His sight. At the same time the Lord also expects you to love him back. Tell the kindness of the Lord to your family, friends and relatives. Praise Him for all his loving kindness.
Him give your best, be it your time or money or kind deeds. In scriptures, we read, Abel sacrificed the first yield of his flocks to God and it was pleasing before the Lord. Cain also sacrificed the vegetables which he grew but the Lord was not pleased. Because Abel sacrificed with his whole heart unlike Cain. Same way, when you give to God, give him the best, he sees the heart which gives. It may only be a penny but is that your best? You may complain that I have given so much to God, still he does not bless me, why? Examine yourself when you do something for God. If your motives are pure, surely God will be pleased with you. So far, if your motives were not clean, change yourself now that the Lord may reward you richly.
Psalmists rightly puts it, How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord (Psalms 116:12). The above passage means that we ought to praise him for all the good things that he has given to us. Also, we have to pay vows to the Lord. If you want God to give victory to you in your present situation, take a vow and pray that he might do a miracle for you. Be prompt to pay it because God is not pleased with people who take vows which they cannot pay.
The Lord loves you and he wants to be loved by you. Therefore, for your situations to change humble yourself and take a vow and pray. He will listen to you and bless you.
May the loving God bless you and keep you safe till He comes.
May the Love of the Father, grace of His son, Jesus Christ and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all.If you are blessed by this message kindly let us know, that we praise God together at firstname.lastname@example.org
